By the ‘eck ther’ be some rather nice pop noir being produced in Leeds at the moment in the form of Cave Birds. Abounding with dark drama, and sky-scraper levelling choruses its Talk Talk meets Hurts via The Last Shadow Puppets (sans George Formby vocals), and we can’t help but wonder what Amos and Mr Wilkes would make of it all? Whilst we desperately search for more clichéd Yorkshire stereotypes, and possibly inadvertently fuel another War Of The Roses, we’ll leave you to enjoy the song below.
