Lime Garden have released their brand new single ‘Marbles’ on So Young Records. It’s a bit different from their debut self released “Surf and Turf” having more of what could be termed as a space disco vibe, but it still has that driving energy and despite the melancholic bent of the lyrics manages to sound uplifting. Singer Chloe Howard explained it wasn’t the easiest single to finish writing “we knew we had a strong chorus, but we just couldn’t seem to join the different sections or to get the detached feeling we wanted. In the studio Leila (Deely) eventually detuned her guitar for the double track in the verses, this created the warped and dissonant feel we wanted.”
