Portmeirion is undeniably one of the most beautiful and slightly off-kilter places in the UK. And for the fourth year running it is also home to the Festival No.6 music and arts festival. This year we made a flying visit to the sold-out event and discovered what might now be our favourite music festival.
It’s incredible location really does make this a music and arts festival like no other and we took in fantastic performances from the likes of British Sea Power, The Sundowners, Jane Weaver, Rae Morris, Here We Go Magic and Spring King. We also caught Alan Partridge, who to a packed crowd introduced a new comedy character, ‘Steve Coogan’, interesting but possibly not his best creation to date, we’ll wager Rob Bryden will sleep easy for a while yet no doubt! ;)
Although we only felt we scratched the surface of the festival it really was a visual and aural feast, and next year hopefully, we’ll stay for the duration!
