On first listen the languid free-falling grace of Ailbhe Reddy’s latest single “Last to Leave” belies the fact it was inspired by frustration “It’s about having an infatuation with someone who you find frustrating” she explains “ and watching as they make a fool of themselves at a party while knowing you might be doing the same thing.” It’s another bittersweet tale from an artist who has previously proven herself to have an innate ability to make the personal universal.
It’s from her second album Endless Affair which arrives on March 17th and includes previous singles the fabulous “A Mess”(below) and “Shitshow” (live video below)
