Georgia Nott makes a hugely impressive debut with the beautiful “Easier To Run.” And before the tin hat brigade stick pencils up their nose and roar “industry plant” when we say debut, Georgia isn’t exactly a newcomer. She’s best known for her work in BROODS, the electronic pop project she started with her brother over a decade ago.
It’s a shimmering, soaring, emotive guitar-driven anthem with an irresistible chorus. As she explains, “It’s a song for all the avoidant lovers who would sooner evaporate than commit It’s about the emotional whiplash of a breakup, the push and pull of love and fear. It dreams of closure and the courage to be honest.”
“After years of working collaboratively as BROODS, I wanted to start a project that could be wholly about my experiences.”
