La Leif’s self-produced debut EP ‘ The Nest’ takes the DIY ethic to new heights and contains a hauntingly beautiful collection of songs. It’s experimental electronic music which mixes loops from everyday life with soaring synths and undulating basslines to produce something evocative and much more than the sum of its parts. It’s also another blow to those chumps who insist that electronic music is somehow cold and unemotional.
Born In Brighton and now based London, La Leif’s ‘The Nest’ was released on 12” vinyl and digital download via The Lumen LaKe label last month.
