PRISMA – I Never Wanted to Meet You
Time for some Scandi dream pop in the shape of PRISMA The duo are from Denmark and consist of sisters Frida and Sirid Møl Kristensen and they’re influenced by the likes of The Raveonettes, Vivian Girls, Trentemøller, The Cure and Susanne Sundfø.
The propulsive guitars and driving melody is driven by a determined energy fuelled by the fact that “I Never Wanted To Meet You” was inspired by reflecting on toxic relationships – ”I realized that having this person in my life wasn’t doing me any good,” says Sirid, “I needed to make a choice, focusing on what was best for me. I can’t have people around me that no longer contribute to my life.”
