Track Of The Day – The History Of Apple Pie – ‘Tame’

Slightly spooky wonky keyboards give way to a barrage of buzzing guitars on The History Of Apple Pie’s lead single ‘Tame’ from their forthcoming second album ‘Feel Something.’ Vocally they still recall the ‘sweetness and light’ of 4AD shoegazers Lush and continue to demonstrate a keen ear for melody as well as the ability to write classic hook laden blissed out buzzsaw pop songs. ‘Tame’ by name but not by nature. The album which  is the follow up to last year’s  excellent debut Out Of View’is out on Sep 29th (UK) / 30th (US) on Marshall Teller Records.
